Cartes Bancaires (CB) is France's primary domestic card network. Most French bank cards feature the CB logo, as they are typically issued by one of the banks within the Groupement des Cartes Bancaires (CB Bank Card Group). To operate outside France and Monaco, the CB card must be co-branded with Visa or Mastercard to process transactions on an international network.
